I am new to Dallas County, what activities might be of interest to me?

We have monthly meetings preceded by a social meet & greet. Get to know other like-minded individuals and engage in the political process. Meet with local elected officials, politicians and an interesting array of speakers on topics that are very relevant to all.

 

What is the level of commitment expected of a new member?

The level of involvement is completely up to an individual's available time. There are many volunteer opportunities to get involved such as get out the vote initiatives, phone calling registered voters, postcard writing, block walking and many more.

 

Are men welcome to attend the PWRW meetings?

Yes, we encourage spouses, friends and other guests to attend our meetings and social events. Men, and women with another primary club, are also welcome to become Associate Members for $25 per year, and we appreciate their support! 

 

Where are meetings usually held?

At the present time we are using different facilities on a rotating basis. 

 

When are the meetings held?

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month, in the evenings. They begin at 6:00pm with a social meet and greet time with refreshments. The speaker starts at 7:00 pm. Following the speaker, there is a short business meeting. The meeting usually concludes around 8-8:30 pm.
